It's time for you to feel better.
There was a time when you didn't feel like you do now. Everything used to be easier and you didn't worry so much. We know you are ready to find peace and move forward with your life. You've probably tried everything on your own and you haven't gotten the results you want. You don't have to do this alone. We are here to help.
Counseling provides a safe, validating relationship that allows you to express yourself without judgment, to gain insights, to focus on your strengths and to learn new coping skills. All of this combines to help you manage difficult circumstances that you encounter. Through effective psychotherapy, you can work toward creative solutions, accept things you can't change, learn something new about yourself and find peace... even in the midst of chaos. With a new sense of confidence and awareness, you can continue to grow and change in your life and relationships and find a sense of balance and peace.
Both the office and our approach is very laid back and user friendly. If we are going to work on difficult life issues and you're willing to share your personal story in confidence, we might as well be as comfortable as possible. It is our priority for you to feel at ease with your counseling and wellness experience. Feel free to wear your jeans and sneakers or whatever helps you to feel comfortable. It's super casual here. It's truly a sacred space where we help you integrate your mind, body and spirit. We think it's important for you to feel comfortable and want you to feel at home while you are exploring your journey back to yourself.
When you arrive in the office, you will not see us right away because we may be meeting with someone else in session. We do try to stay on schedule, however, occasionally, we may not be right on time due to other situations that may arise with other people we are helping. That's ok... just relax on the couch and breathe... or wander into the dining room and make yourself a warm cup of tea, or color a mandala or read a book. Just breathe.
